Hello, I’m Alexis, co-founder of Afridemia. As a passionate teacher and an unexpected entrepreneur, I established Afridemia to empower students preparing for their university journeys. Our mission is to make top-tier education accessible to all, regardless of their financial background. We prioritize financial aid to support high-achieving, low-income students, ensuring they can pursue their dreams at the world’s best universities. I firmly believe that financial constraints should never hinder access to world-class education. Everyone deserves a chance to succeed!

My mission is to eliminate generational poverty by providing disadvantaged students with access to high-quality education. Looking back, I realize that one of the most impactful choices I can make is to empower young people with the opportunities they need to realize their dreams. Many of my childhood friends remain in mundane jobs, lacking the access to resources that would allow them to reach their full potential.
Some of them are just as intelligent, hardworking, and driven as I am, which makes me wonder, “What set me apart?” The answer is a world-class education, a chance that enabled me to go from wishing to help others to actually making a difference.
I am dedicated to helping high-achieving, low-income African students secure a world-class education. My goal is to equip them with the preparation and exposure necessary for success in rigorous higher education environments. I want to support African students whose talent and ambition far exceed the resources available to them for obtaining such an education.
