The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) was chartered in 1845, making it the oldest continuously operating college in the state of Texas. UMHB is Christian university affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. UMHB is home to nearly 3800 students representing 31 different countries. The university offers 58 undergraduate majors, 16 master’s degree programs, and three doctoral programs. UMHB is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
