Founded in 1907, California College of the Arts (CCA) educates students to shape culture and society through the practice and critical study of art, architecture, design, and writing. Located at the center of innovation and technology in San Francisco, CCA is home to a world-renowned faculty of practicing artists and designers. The college’s creative culture is built around the ideals of interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainability, community engagement, and social equity. Offering 22 undergraduate programs of which 6 are STEM designated (Animation, Architecture, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Comics and Interior Design) so that students are able to extend their OPT by an additional 2 years to get work experience after they graduate.
